Friday
8am
Up. Walk. Coffee.
9am
Do some client work try some of the yoga videos on the Heapace app. Figure it’s good to mix things up? Some of the moves (?) are the same as in Pilates, but I don’t know what a pigeon pose is meant to do.
11am
Drop off some more stock at the pop up shop. Buy a bath bomb in solidarity with the other makers. Chat to one of the organisers about The Value of Art.
12pm
Package up a couple of shop orders, pop to the post office and drop in on my nan on the way back.
1pm
Lunch and Maggie’s seminar.
3pm
Remember my resolution to stop feigning productivity mid-afternoon and catch up with Catfish. Every time I think there can’t be another ‘type’ of catfish, there’s another type of catfish. Bonkers. I love it.
4pm
More seminar, work on the Do Something Directory, have dinner.
7pm
More seminar. There’s so much to go through! I am inspired.
9pm
The Hobbit is on. I don’t normally go for big sweeping epic films, because I don’t like sitting still for more than an hour (my joints get stiff and when I stand up, all you can hear is clicking. That’s not even muscle, is it, that’s bloody bones). Anyway, the seminar has put me in the mood for a proper story with character arcs and subtext.
12am
God Tolkein was good at his job. Bed.
