How long has it been since I wrote a post here if we measure in calendar months? Maybe let’s focus on the here and now. I’ve noticed a lot of new viewers in the last few months so if you’re new here, hi, I’m Francesca, I write books and short stories and films.

I seem to have lots of literary things to talk about so I thought I’d pop them all in the same post.

Signed Books in Throne & Heart Bookshop

What do we love more than a bookshop? An indie bookshop! Throne & Heart has just opened in Market Harborough in Leicestershire and if you’re in the area you should go and pick up signed copies of The Princess and the Dragon and Other Stories About Unlikely Heroes and Rotting Trees.

Short Story in Divinations Magazine

Into horror? Into stories about women inflicting revenge on those who have wronged them? Me too. My short story Sometimes Women Your Age Are Just Tired is in the Craving issue of Divinations Magazine, which is free to read. If you’d like to hear me read the story aloud, an audio recording is dropping on YouTube on 15th May (and is already available at the No. 1 Readers’ Club).

Finally and not book related if you give it a think, I reckon your day will be hugely improved by an indie cover of Mambo No. 5 performed in a bubble bath.
